According to a report published on Friday in The Verge, a independent app analyst Jane Morgan Wong collected evidence of the testing of the dating feature and shared it on Twitter.

It was written in its screenshot, "This product is for US Facebook employees, who have decided to join the testing of Facebook's new dating product." It has been said in the report that Facebook has asked its employees to use fake data in their dating profile and the company has decided to delete all these data before launching it publicly.

Further in the screenshot, "Joining the test of this product is entirely voluntary and will not affect your employment." The social media giants, however, later admitted that they were testing the app dating within the main Facebook app, but refused to give any more information than this.

Facebook Chief Executive Mark Zuckerberg said, "It is being prepared to add a long-term relationship, not just for one night's relations." He further said, "We are designing it with privacy and security, your friends will not be able to see your dating profile, and you will only be advised to make friends with those who will not be on your friendship list."
